In a skillet over medium head, saute onion in butter until slightly brown. Add vodka slowly to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes. Mix in crushed tomatoes and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Pour in heavy cream and cook for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon warm sauce over pasta and enjoy.
We used Boru shamrock shaped ravioli (about a pound) that we picked up at Costco around St. Pat's day.
